Sarah Crocker Music

 Trumpet Lessons and Coaching

My Experience and More:

I am a junior at East Carolina University, and I am majoring in trumpet performance. I attended high school at Havelock High School and have participated in almost every honors band in North Carolina, ranging from regional jazz to principal chair in the All-State Orchestra. I studied with Jordan Webb in high school and I started taking lessons with my current trumpet professor, Gabriel DiMartino, a year before I went to college. Additionally, I was a trumpet section leader for two years and taught a range of students on different levels. I worked at different band camps, ranging from beginners to high school players.

I will be teaching in the Greenville area, specific locations will be determined as lessons are scheduled. I am able to travel if needed, within reason or with an added fee. I teach virtually, and the scheduling will be the same process (contact me to schedule). Virtual lessons take place on zoom with no added fee, just access to a reliable computer or tablet. I am able to accomodate students who want lessons from once or twice a week, bi-weekly, or monthly. Please feel free to email me with any questions!

What Can I Do To Help You or Your Child/Student?

I have access to a ton of solo pieces for all levels of players, and fundamental things like etudes, warm-up exercises and even more.

I am especially experienced with exceptional learners. If your student  has special needs, I am confident that I will be able to help them be successful.

I will be able to provide up to two lessons a week, or up to every other week, or as needed for you and your student. As I am in college, I am flexible and will be able to schedule lessons after classes or on weekends when I am available.

I also teach virtually, on zoom. This is not a problem at all, just message me to schedule!

I am confident that my experience in teaching will give me the ability to help your child/student with the things that they need help with, or if they want lessons to be a better player in general. I will be able to teach materials for audition preparation, add additional support for classroom instruction, or anything else that you or your student needs.
